Thursday & Friday NOVEMBER 7TH & 8TH: F. W. Murnau’s “SUNRISE: A SONG OF TWO HUMANS” starring JANET GAYNOR (Academy Award performance), GEORGE O’BRIEN and Salt Lake born MARGARET LIVINGSTON. Of all the films that I have ever seen or that we have played at THE ORGAN LOFT this film ranks as one of the true MASTERPIECES. This is a very special films for adults and an opportunity to hear BLAINE GALE score it beautifully on the Wurlitzer. .Below is the stunning oil painting that Doug Vandergrift created when it opened the Sundance Film Festival when it premiered with a brand new orchestra score. You will hear with an organ score based on the original Hugo Riesenfeld  Movietone score. This is a film not to be missed. Not recommended for children.  Open Doors 6:45–Shows Starts 7:30 pm.
