Nov 17 @ 7:30 pm

The MARK of ZORRO” Lights Up The Screen at Edison St / The Organ Loft November 17th & 18th
with Mr. BLAINE GALE at the keyboard of the mighty Wurlitzer Theater Pipe Organ.
Each year since 1989, the Library of Congress selects 25 films considered important to preserve for their
cultural, historical or aesthetic point of view. In 2015 . DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS’ The MARK of ZORRO” was
selected to join that elect group.  Douglas Fairbanks, aware that post-World War I audiences
had grown weary of the romantic comedies that had made him a star, decided to adapt his persona to create a
daring hero and established himself as an icon of American culture as a seemingly
idiotic fop who really is the courageous vigilante Zorro, who seeks to protect the oppressed.
For an exciting evening of adventure and romance you will want to join us on Thursday or Friday,
November 17th & 18th at 7:30 pm as BLAINE GALE provides a thrilling live score for
one of filmdom’s greatest adventure stories on the mighty Wurlitzer Theater Pipe Organ.
