On May 26th & 27th Douglas Fairbanks lights up the screen as we climax our spring season with THE BLACK PIRATE shot in the 2-strip Technicolor process. This was a dream project for Fairbanks and it offers him the chance to perform some amazing feats of action as he poses as the mysterious Black Pirate and infiltrates a nest of bandits. With Blaine Gale at the Wurlitzer this one not to be missed! This is the last showing of our Spring Season. We do not show movies during the Summer Months June, July and August. rides the rails to a dude ranch, forms a sentimental attachment
with an especially lovable cow, and in the film’s breathtaking
climax finds himself in the center of a cattle stampede through
the streets of Los Angeles. This was one of Keaton’s personal
favorites and BLAINE GALE will musically tickle your funny
bones with the magic of the Wurlitzer keyboard.

Loretta Young as LON CHANEY teams with the beautiful LORETTA YOUNG
(in her first important film) for LAUGH, CLOWN, LAUGH. Loretta Young was
born right here in Salt Lake City. She went on to have a spectacular career
in both movies and TV winning a Academy Award for “The Farmer’s Daughter”
Working with Chaney was the event that gave her the background
